Battle for the Arden Forest
Ever seen those legendary videos of the French buhurt fighters swinging halberds in the woods? The UK is about to write its own chapter.
This is the first edition of the new UK’s mass battles event. Think 40v40 in a long narrow field, 12v12 amongst the trees and over bridges or 20v20 capture-the-flag… Let’s take armoured combat out of the lists and try a different flavour of fun.
Date & Schedule:
10th of May 2025
08:30 – Doors open
09:00 – Weapons check begins
10:00 – Doors close, no entry from this point
10:30 – Fights start
13:00 – Lunch break
16:30 – Fights finish
18:00 – Site must be cleared

The main event - classic buhurt rules...in a large long field with no lists. Cause who needs lists anyway?
The bridge battle
20v20 with a twist - both teams start either side of a small river. There is a sturdy bridge that spans it and a small ford a short distance away. Will you hold your side of the river and wait? Storm the bridge in force? Or will you send a small flanking group over the ford?
Banner push
Two teams rush to grab the banner stuck in the centre of a wooded area and fight their way to the enemy's base to win. A 15v15 tactical team game with resurrections.

Q: Are we going to have enough women to play?
A: Don't worry – all games will be adjusted to the actual numbers. We have some alternative games prepared for women specifically to replace the ones we cannot get good enough numbers for. If the minimum is not reached, all women’s tickets will be refunded and re-released for the guys. We’ll be making this call no later than 2 weeks before the event.
